We are thrilled to share the outcomes of our recent visit to Tbilisi, Georgia, from October 8-11, 2024, as part of the Polish Challenge Fund project implemented by UNDP. Our team, led by CEO Piotr Krajewski and CTO Jarosław Kwiecien, had a productive and inspiring time working with Georgian healthcare professionals to enhance cancer diagnosis capabilities in the country.

Key Highlights of Our Visit

Training and Implementation
Our team successfully launched and provided comprehensive training on the use of PathoCam, as well as our Radiology and Pathology modules and algorithms. We worked closely with a dedicated team of radiologists, pathologists, and oncologists, ensuring they are well-equipped to leverage our cutting-edge technology for improved cancer diagnostics.

Expanding Collaboration
Discussions with medical professionals revealed exciting opportunities for broader cooperation. We explored the possibility of equipping pathology laboratories with our Laboratory Information System (LIS) module and discussed potential applications of our platform for educational and diagnostic purposes.
Diplomatic Engagement
We had the privilege of meeting with Przemysław Pierz and Paulina Pielech-Legiec from the Polish Embassy in Tbilisi. Our discussions centered around the potential for implementing our platform in other healthcare facilities across Georgia, further expanding the reach and impact of our technology.
UNDP Meeting
Our visit concluded with a presentation at the UNDP headquarters in Tbilisi, where we showcased the scope and status of our collaboration within the grant project. We engaged in meaningful discussions about the pressing global issue of physician shortages and long waiting times for cancer diagnoses, exploring possibilities for extended cooperation to address these challenges.

Looking Ahead

The warm reception and Georgian hospitality we experienced have left a lasting impression on our team. We are deeply grateful to our Georgian partners for their enthusiasm and commitment to improving cancer diagnostics in their country.
This visit has reinforced our belief in the transformative power of our technology and the importance of international collaboration in advancing healthcare.
