The 22nd Congress of the Polish Society of Pathologists
The 22nd Congress of the Polish Society of Pathologists took place in Poznań on the 13-15th of October 2022. This year’s motto was: “Pathomorphology worth knowing. Time for a comprehensive morphological diagnosis.” Experts met in the Poznań Congress Center – a historical place where the General National Exhibition was organized in 1929.
A list of presented topics was as follows:
- Personalized pathomorphology
- WHO classifications – new units, new diagnostic tests
- Diagnostics of non-cancerous diseases
- Pathologists in multidisciplinary teams
- New tools supporting diagnosis (artificial intelligence in pathomorphology)
- Standardization and accreditation in pathomorphology.

Most importantly, we were the technology partner of this event and shared our PathoPlatform for an online workshop for Pathologists. Furthermore, we had an opportunity to speak to a wide audience of polish pathologists during one of the sessions: IT in Pathology. The lecture took place on Friday, the 14th of October. Piotr Krajewski and Jarosław Kwiecień talked about “Digitalization and artificial intelligence in Pathology – challenges, the latest trends”.
Couple of people from our team represented CancerCenter.AI during the event. They participated not only in the educational part of the congress but also in less formal meetings. Our active participation in the event resulted in many new connections and fruitful discussions. Moreover, we had an opportunity to learn more about pathologists’ interests and needs. To clarify, we know our clients even better than before. In addition, the Polish Society of Pathologists is now more familiar with Cancer Center.AI products – another remarkable advantage for the whole company. We hope to see medical experts and show our products again next year.
